Who We Are: The Story of Heritage Floor Covering

Heritage Floor Covering is a family-owned and operated business. After years of subcontracting with various stores throughout Boston and the Cape Cod region, it was decided to open a floor covering store in the town we have been residing in since 1985.

In January of 2001, Heritage Floor Covering became the first retail flooring store to open in Heritage Park in Sandwich.  We are a full service flooring  store, featuring brand name carpets such as  Shaw, Beaulieu, Gulistan, Mohawk, Kraus, Milliken & Hagaman and a variety of tile selections including American Olean, Daltile, Crossville, Royalty Ceramic Collection & Earthen Treasures.

Lines of vinyl, laminate & hardwood are also available.   Heritage Floor Covering has maintained an exceptional reputation. Friendly service, fair prices and quality installations along with having owner Russell Wade measure every job himself have earned us the #1 flooring store choice in Sandwich.  We have been involved in many commercial jobs for the Town of Sandwich, including the Sandwich High School, all three K-8 schools, Sandwich Town Hall & the Sandwich Police Station,  while still maintaining our residential schedule for Sandwich and beyond.

We are very involved in supporting fundraisers, school events and the local YMCA. Owner Russell Wade has installed every product we sell. Our tile installer has been with us for the last 12 years; our carpet installer has been with us for 15 years. Along with our helpers and other subcontractors, we’ve built our reputation by providing the personal service our customers have come to expect.  Our sales and public relations department, operated  by Cheryl Wade, gives customers & builders their quotes, orders materials, schedules installs, measures & advertising.  Donna Klucevsek, who has been with us for the last six years, is extremely helpful and has become quite an asset to us.   All of us at Heritage Floor Covering balance each other well.
